The statewide election of Local 535 officers is now underway. Members will elect the following officers: president, first vice president, three
regional vice presidents (northern, central, and southern), treasurer, and secretary. These officers serve two-year terms.

Election ballots will be mailed to the general membership on Friday, October 19, 2001 and must be returned by November 19, 2001. Only ballots returned to Local 535 Election Committee by that date will be counted by the Election Committee. Ballots will be counted on December 1, 2001 and new statewide officers will be installed at the first state executive board meeting of 2002.

If you do not receive a ballot in the mail, you should call or visit your local union office and request a duplicate ballot.
