Bob Santana, instructor of scaffold erector and carpentry class “We teach them the secret of how to come home alive and in one piece and save yourself for retirement: stay away from hazardous conditions, use fall protection, and comply with OSHA standards. “I really enjoy teaching the students and seeing them graduate and excel in whatever they are doing out there in the field. In the classroom, I let them know what we are going to go over and set goals for the week. A lot of the students come here and they don't feel they can do well. By the time Friday comes, they are impressed with how well they did and the goals they achieved.”
