Don Moon, Foreman, Quality Control, 19 years The best part is the friendship. We’re a real brotherhood. You work with someone on a job for 10 months and they become family. I like doing the planning and staying ahead of the work. That way, when guys finish one thing, they can jump right on to the next without wasting time getting organized. Right now I am preparing end-caps. We used to pack the joints with calcium mud and wrap it with fiberglass like on a boat. Now everything is metal. It’s a lot faster and cleaner and looks better when you’re finished. When I leave a job, I want the satisfaction of everything looking perfect.
