Steve Powers, Training Director I have the best job ever. I see young people coming into the trade not knowing anything, and when they leave they have a career in front of them. You deal with their personal problems and apprenticeship problems, but in the end you know they will have a good future. You can't beat that, and I get to do it. The biggest change weve seen is in safety. In my fathers day, they would work on the system live. To test to see if a wire was hot, hed lick his finger and stick it in the panel. Now we work with everything turned off.
