The following trainings are scheduled. If your chapter is interested in leadership training, you should contact your union field staff, who can set up a training.

Oakland

On the first Wednesday of each month there is a steward/leadership training at the Oakland office, 5:30 -8:30 p.m. Dinner will be provided.

Oct. 2 Labor Law (topic (to be determined)

Nov. 6 Communication/-Collaborative Problem Solving

Dec. 4 Presenting Grievances/Case Study

Past topics have included discipline case studies, basic steward training, and meeting skills.

Pasadena

Sept 21 Labor Law

Fresno

Sept. 3 and Nov. 5 Training topics to be determined. Call the Fresno office for details.
